The Leap of Trust: Unveiling Freedom Through Dreams

The Leap of Trust: Unveiling Freedom Through Dreams

Freedom is Scary

I am flying in the free air. I am heading towards the sky. I love the feeling of freedom. I enjoy the fresh air, the closeness to the sky. Yet, my legs are trembling. Despite the exhilarating feeling of freedom that invades my heart, the thought of letting go and embracing the unknown is daunting.

The Struggle with Freedom

I am hanging between fear and freedom. Freedom feels promising, but it also feels daunting. I am hanging on a ladder and I am afraid to let go, even though I know somewhere in my heart that if I let go, I will not fall. But still, I am struggling to keep tight on the ladder. Why am I so scared? I wonder. I decide to close my eyes. This way, freedom might feel less daunting. Less scary. With my eyes closed, I hear a voice: "See your wings, spread them!"

Embracing Freedom

I wake up. I stare at the wall. How would the dream end if I let the ladder go? I wonder. I imagine letting go of the ladder, opening my wings, and flying—without doubts, without fear. Just enjoying the flight. But first, I need to acknowledge that I have wings.

I imagine the dream going on, me discovering wings attached to my back, magnificently poised, waiting to be unfurled. It takes a moment of trust and immense courage, but I spread them wide. In that instant, I feel an unbounded sense of freedom. I am free. I can fly.

Letting Go

Letting go. I knew that was the answer of the Universe or God to my question. My freedom was only a matter of me letting go—letting go of wanting to be totally in control over my life. It was a dream about trust. It was a dream about becoming aware of my wings.

You, too, have wings; we all have them. We just need to see them and trust. I couldn't help but think all day about this dream. It stayed with me because I knew I needed to do something about it. What could I do? All I could do was create a piece of art out of it. This is how the painting "Spread Your Wings" came to life.

Have You Ever...

Have you ever had a dream so vivid that it left an everlasting imprint on your soul? A dream that whispered tales of freedom and courage, urging you to take a leap of faith?
