How Passion Resurrects Our Lives

How Passion Resurrects Our Lives

How can a Passion Can Determine You to Commit?

At 29, I came to a startling realization - I was still searching. Searching for my true self, searching for my purpose.

While my friends had long settled down and started families, I felt like I was missing something. I couldn't envision a life solely focused on raising children and being a housekeeper. There is nothing wrong with wanting to do so, but I craved more.

It wasn't until the world was forced to pause amidst the COVID pandemic that I finally had the time and space to contemplate my life's direction. As a naturally curious person, I had dabbled in various hobbies, but none of them felt like my true calling. As I approached 30, I knew I wanted to find that one thing that would convince me to commit.

They say that asking the right question is already half the answer. So I kept asking myself, "What truly fills my life with love and passion?" And slowly, the answer revealed itself.

It was while sketching a simple squirrel for a paper quilling project - a hobby I had for years - that I discovered my love for drawing. It was like a spark had been lit inside, and I couldn't get enough. I enrolled in courses, spent every free moment honing my skills, and turned my bedroom into a makeshift studio.

Art became my therapy, my escape, and my passion. Before I could even consider pursuing it as a career, I had to overcome many fears. It wasn't until I discovered the Milan Art Institute that I dared to dream. To dream of a life where I could quit my job and make a living through my art alone.

How Can A Courageous Decision Transform Lives?

For me, living a life in alignment with my soul has been the ultimate reward. Being exactly where I want to be and doing what I love - there's no greater feeling.

Being an artist means living an authentic life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. As someone once said, "We have to start before we're ready." And that's exactly what I did with my art. I leaped, even though I wasn't fully prepared. But that's the beauty of it - not being ready pushes you to grow, to become better, to stretch yourself in ways you never thought possible. And that's exactly what I needed.

A courageous decision can lead us to places we never even knew existed. It can open doors and opportunities we never thought possible. It can transform our lives in ways we never imagined. And for me, choosing to pursue my dream of being an artist has been the most life-changing decision I've ever made.

What choice did you make that altered your life and compelled you to improve?
